Last week McKay had surgery on his back. It was his third spinal fusion surgery in the last year, this time on his neck. He now was metal all the way up and down his spine. He had the surgery on Thursday, and he was able to come home on Monday. He'll be out of school for a few weeks.
The day after the surgery McKay was already happy and smiling, even though he must have been in a lot of pain. He really is one of the toughest people I've ever known. He can go through things that would make most of us cry and still be cheerful. McKay, you are amazing!
